Autism Unlimited gains associated membership to Autism-Europe
Autism Unlimited has been awarded associate membership of one of Europe’s biggest and most respected autism advocacy organisations, Autism-Europe.
After a vote by the Council of Administration, we are delighted to confirm our membership after attending their Annual General Assembly, held in Dublin from earlier this month.
Autism-Europe works with over 90 member organisations across 40 European countries and is regularly consulted by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations (UN). It plays a key role in raising public awareness and influencing European decision-makers on all issues relating to the rights of autistic people.
Autism Unlimited has become an associated member which means we are an organisation that do not have a majority of autistic people or parents of autistic people on our board, or that do not deal exclusively with autism (for example, associations for mental disability). We are particularly proud to be the only UK based organisation to be accepted as members this year.

This membership will allow us to participate in improving the quality of life of autistic people and their families, something at the heart of our charity and a fantastic step for AU and our people."
