We have three safe and supportive residential homes for adults across the South West, each of which is regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Home from home
These welcoming and comfortable properties provide a home from home, with individual bedrooms, good sized communal living and outdoor spaces to enjoy.
Each property accommodates a maximum of four people and has a team of professional and caring staff who are there to support residents and help them achieve their potential, on their own terms.
Positivity is key in our residential homes.
Residents are encouraged to grow their confidence and express themselves by pursuing their own hobbies and discovering new ones, as well as forming new friendships.
Obstacles are overcome, successes are celebrated and, as with all Autism Unlimited services, everyone is treated as an individual, whilst receiving bespoke support through their own personalised care plan. If a person needs full time residential care, we can also provide this.

Some useful information

Find out more
We are committed to creating a world of unlimited possibilities, and this has to start with understanding. It is not known what causes autism, but it’s a lifelong condition that somebody is born with. There is some evidence that autism is genetic. Visit this section to find out more about autism.

Autism alert card
An autism alert card can enable other people to help you if you are in difficulties. Autism alert cards will be issued free of charge to people aged over 10 years on the autism spectrum, who are residents in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.

Our campaigns
We have run 4 successful campaigns across 2022-2023, capturing insights directly from people living with autism, told in their voices, and highlighting how they experience the world. Visit this section to read real life stories.
