According to a recent survey by Zest, conducted by Opinium, 38 % of HR leaders reported an increase in employees with neurodiverse conditions in the previous year, however 49% of neurodiverse employees said they feel under-supported at work and 22% of HR leaders admitted to struggling to satisfy the needs of neurodiverse staff.
This 1 day interactive and engaging workshop is aimed at business owners, HR professionals and line managers, and will increase your knowledge on neurodiversity and provide you will the tools and strategies to confidently support a neurodivergent work force.
Course covers:
• Understand what is meant by the term 'Neurodiversity'
• Learn about some specific neurodiverse conditions (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Tourette’s)
• Identify strengths and unique attributes of neurodivergent people
• Recognise how beneficial these strengths are in an employment context
• Implement inclusive communication techniques across your organisation
• The importance of introducing and reviewing workplace adjustments
• Highlight various employment law case studies and the Equality Act 2010
The content of our courses are co-designed using the skills and expertise of various professionals each with vast experience in their area of specialism, including the involvement of our autistic and neurodivergent people, at every stage of the training design.
Listening and learning to how their experiences have shaped and changed their lives strongly influences our sessions and ensures we represent real life scenarios.

Claire Causley, Autism Unlimited's Training and Senior People Partner with over 20 years experience in human resources. Claire was diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 30 years.
