Our courses range from ‘Understanding Autism’ to ‘What is Neurodiversity?’. These tailor-made courses are co-designed by Neurodiverse people who provide you with first hand lived experience into their world. All our training is delivered in an interactive and engaging way. There will be videos and activities to make you think throughout with a short quiz at the end.
Understanding Autism
This E-Learning course covers;
An autistic perspective of:
- What is autism?
- Communication
- Social Understanding
- Sensory
- Repetitive and restrictive behaviours
- Behaviours that challenge
- Making a difference
What is Neurodiversity?
The aim of the course is for you to:
- Understand what is meant by the term ‘neurodiversity’
- Learn about some specific neurodiverse conditions (dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, autism, tourette’s)
- Identify strengths and unqiue attributes of neurodiverse people
- Recognise how beneficial these strengths are in an employment context
